Integrating a unique brand identity into a local, family-owned business.
The Village Grill (TVG) is a Burlington, North Carolina restaurant that has been a staple in the community for decades. Since 2009, The Village Grill and its partner restaurant Blue Ribbon Diner (BRD) have entrusted Live Oak Communications to complete their PR, marketing, and advertising work. Live Oak Communications is Elon University's competitive, student-run agency that strives to make an impact on North Carolina businesses while providing applicable, real-world experience.
Live Oak Communications
I have been a member of Live Oak Communications since January of 2023. In that semester, I was an Account Executive for TVG/BRD's account. In the first semester of my Senior year, I served as the Account Supervisor for TVG/BRD, and truly have enjoyed managing our client relationship with the restaurant owner as well as participating in creating and implementing multiple campaigns. This Winter, at the start of 2024, I will help lead the entire agency as Assistant Agency Director.
In August of 2023, I wrote and presented our semester Scope of Work to the client, with one of the deliverables being photoshoots at both restaurants. These images would update the current collection of restaurant photographs, which are used for social media, creative assets such as table tents, and company communication deliverables.
