A blend of flavors meets a blend of strategy & contextual writing

An additional client at Mosaic North America is Chelan Fresh, a Washington farm acclaimed for three of their crops, Cosmic Crisp™, Rockit®, and SugarBee® apples. Each apple has a unique flavor profile and something specific and championed about SugarBee® apples is the origin story. Prior to the 2025 crop season, which would supply the farm with their apples for the next year, our Client Services, Strategy and Creative team dove in head first into identifying, examining and creating for season-focused tentpoles for the apple to drive awareness and conversion.

Creative process

When creating the fall season key visual, our team developed an art and copy cadence to later apply to each season as the lifestyles and shopping trends of our identified strategic personas changed. This target might be hosting to the maximum during the holiday season, but as the new year comes along, they're refocusing on their health and diet. With this, came a list of client mandatories, specifically an emphasis on the apples origin story.

 

Through each of our seasonal tentpoles, we've begun the creative process by designing the key visual, and working alongside our media team to decide retailer buys and placements. Then, utilizing retailer sizing and character counts, we pull down the key visual into the final creative that goes live across key retailer.

Humble beginnings, big flavor

A crucial piece to every SugarBee® project is spotlighting the apples origin story. One tactic that was helpful in illustrating this is the short-form video featured to the right. This evergreen placement checks the most important client box while educating shoppers on the flavors of the apple. This video can be used during or in between our seasonal tentpoles to ensure SugarBee® messaging is still reaching shoppers
