Who is Leah Schneider? 

Welcome to my portfolio. I am so glad you're here and are interested in just a small snippet of my life and personality. As a child, I could never decide on one color crayon, and the same sentiment applies to today. With an ever-evolving style and a long list of passions, I am thankful for the creative industry for giving me the space to color outside the lines yet again.

I currently reside in Chicago, Illinois, working as a Copywriter on the Commerce & Shopper Creative Team at Mosaic North America, soon to be Acosta Group Commerce. I write multi-platform long- and short-form copy for a variety of clients across the CPG space, which requires me to be uber-knowledgeable on our client's brands, have keen time management skills, and stay up to date on market trends and patterns.

 

During my years at Elon University, I served in two crucial roles that set me up for my career. As the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for my sorority, Tri Delta (Epsilon Delta), and the Assistant Agency Director at Live Oak Communications, Elon University's student-run advertising agency, I enhanced and applied my professional, co-working, and creative skills. Being a positive, welcoming individual, I love working with others, and these two outlets introduced me to peers who have become mentors, role models, and friends.

In my previous internships and work experiences, I embraced a global mindset and was always prepared to take on new challenges. By traveling and living in a diverse array of cities and countries, I have been exposed to new work styles, industries, and professional environments, all while improving my adaptability in and out of the workplace.
